New flights from Cardiff International Airport have been announced by bmibaby, the largest low cost carrier from Wales.The airline said today it has introduced a new route from the airport for the winter season to Barcelona, and increased frequencies to Belfast and Glasgow International. Flights are available for travel from 26th October 2008 until 28th March 2009.To meet increasing consumer demand, frequencies have been increased on key domestic routes to Belfast International and Glasgow International. bmibaby will now offer double daily flights to Belfast during the week, versus one flight per day lastwinter, plus eight flights a week to Glasgow. The airline will also offer 13 flights a week to Edinburgh.In total bmibaby will fly to 13 European destinations for winter: Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Belfast International, Edinburgh, Faro, Geneva, Glasgow International, Jersey, Malaga, Murcia, Palma and Warsaw.Winter flights from Cardiff with bmibaby are:-

Malaga Up to 4 flights per week
Alicante Up to 4 flights per week
Palma Up to 2 flights per week
Murcia Up to 2 flights per week
Faro Up to 2 flights per week

Edinburgh Up to 13 flights per week
Glasgow Intl Up to 8 flights per week
Jersey Up to 2 flights per week
