Extra ZOOM Flights to Canada - SUMMER 2008

Taken from www.cwlfly.com
Zoom Airlines today (Friday) announced details of its expanded Cardiff to Canada service, strengthening its presence in the Welsh travel market.
Due to the unprecedented level of demand on Zoom's Cardiff to Toronto route, an additional direct service, which will commence in July, has been added to this summer's schedule of flights. Zoom will now operate twice weekly flights to Toronto departing on a Monday and Wednesday, with the weekly flight to Vancouver departing on a Thursday.
The summer programme will commence at the start of May offering a full scheduled service with fares from as low as £329 return including all taxes to Toronto and from just £429 return including all taxes to Vancouver.
Zoom is the only transatlantic airline offering flights to a choice of Canadian destinations throughout the summer from Cardiff International Airport, providing high quality low-cost flights to two of Canada's most exciting and diverse cities.
Lori Burke, marketing manager of Zoom Airlines, said: "We are delighted to be doubling our frequency out of Cardiff to Toronto this summer. The increase year-on-year in passenger numbers since we first started operating from Cardiff in summer 2005, has been exceptional.
This additional summer service is testament to the level of demand from the Welsh travelling public for our low-cost high quality flights."
Patrick Duffy, Managing Director at Cardiff International Airport said: "Zoom adding an extra Toronto service is testament to the strength of the long haul market within Wales and the desire to travel to North America. The direct, non-stop service to Toronto's main airport has benefits for passengers from not only Wales but also the west of England." We must also remember that Wales is proving a popular destination for travellers from Canada and inbound tourism is also increasing, with Cardiff International as the gateway to the region."
Zoom operates an 'easyJet-style' booking service with flexible one-way fares and the flights offer Economy and Premium Economy services with meals and soft drinks included in the fare in all cabins, and an enhanced service available in the Premium Economy cabin, with upgrades available from as little as £50 one-way.
