NEWS 23/02/12 - This afternoon will see the departure of the last VC-10 to be serviced at MoD St Athan. The aircraft concerned is 101 Sqn VC-10 K.3 ZA147/F and will take it's place in history by being the last "military" aircraft to receive attention at the base, a very sad day indeed. She is due to depart at 15:00 and i'm told it may perform a flyby !
I would imagine the time is not set in stone so try and get down there a little earlier if you wish to see her leave.
