The best place to spot at from here is the "Rhoose Flying Club Cafe/Bar" which is situated on the Southern side of the airfield. There is a balcony that overlooks the airfield which offers excellent photographic opportunities across the main runway. Here you can get a selection of hot & cold food, alcoholic & soft drinks plus coffee & tea. If you are planning on going for a Sunday lunch you will need to book.
If you do come here to spot, can I politely ask that you support the facility by purchasing at least a cuppa and a sandwich. If you wish to plug in your SBS/Radar Box or laptop please ask permission from Nigel the proprieter (the big guy behind the bar) ..regards IanG
