Visitors

Landing at 06:28 is "Skyrunner 726" MSR Flug-Charter Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1 D-ISGW c/n 525-0070 parking Echo ..departed 12:59

Due in at 08:12 from Stuttgart is Bosch AG Challenger 605 HB-JGT c/n 5736 ..landed 08:03 parking Echo, due back out to Stuttgart at 17:50 ..departed 17:25

Inbound to the Hold at 13:45 prior to a couple of approaches (14:00 & 14:12) is "RRR645" LTW Hercules C.4 ZH874/874 ..departed to Exeter for further approaches

Inbound at 15:00 is Socata TBM700 N700GY ..landed 15:11 parking Echo ..departed 15:48 to Guernsey

Diverting in 19:05 due to bad weather at Haverfordwest is Europa G-BXHY ..landed 19:20 and parking at the club

Inbound 19:40 for some NDB approaches is Hercules C.4 ZH870/870 from the LTW c/s "RRR530"

MOD St Athan Information - EGSY 07/25

To spot here you're best off taking the B4265 St Athan to Llantwit Major road. From here you will see a railway bridge that leads to a paved track that runs along the fence and runway. This track leads to an unmanned entrance gate and is under CCTV surveillance. If you use this track, please park at the far end, not on the verges, as it is used by wide farm vehicles and delivery lorries. All a/c in outside storage can be seen from the bridge itself. The track can also be accessed via St Athan village via Llantwit Road opposite the Church. To view the Caerdav hangar (Twin Peaks) and scrapping area continue westbound along the B4265, past the West Gate entrance and turn right at the traffic lights. Follow this road to the T-junction and turn right onto the new road. The entrance road to the South Wales Aviation Museum is left at the next traffic lights, views can also be had from here as it's the only convenient stopping place. Be aware there are regular Security and Police patrols around the airfield and you may be stopped and questioned.
