Cardiff IAP Runway in use 30
Airborne at 21:04 for 20 minutes was PA-28 G-BOPC "Fast Track 15", this became the last aircraft to be controlled using Cardiffs old radar which was taken out of use c21:16. Even more poignant was the fact that the radar controller vectoring the a/c for an ILS and the pilot were Father and Son. The new radar will be commissioned tonight.
