Two showing on FLYTECOMM for today "BAW9170" a B744 from LHR at 1607hrs and Cega 501 from Nice at 1728hrs.

"INDIA FOX ALPHA 7415" Just departing 12 at 0928 local bound East on airways. 3 letter code gives her Fai Air Srevice of Germany (Flight Ambulance International) operating 2 Citations and 2 Learjets

Just gone Westbound along the Coast (1030) is G-DEBT a Pioneer 300

Just landed from Bilbao is EMB-120RT EC-HHN of BKS Air c/s "FLT961"....BEAST !!

Embraer 120RT EC-HHN of BKS Air landing on runway 12 (Phil Woods)

New resident here is PA-28 G-MELS ..Ex D-EASX which still shows up on Snoopy

B747 G-CIVU noted at BAMC (1300)..presumably will be going home to Heathrow later! . Now departing to Heathrow "BAW9171" (1820)

Now (1300) routing Haverfordwest-Upfield Farm is G-BROO a Luscombe 8-E, will be following the M4 corridor.

Inbound now on 30 (1645) is "Cega 501" G-CEGP a Beech 200 of Cega Aviation. ..now departed (1845)

Boeing 747 G-BNLL now landing (1700) on runway 30 "BAW9170"

Just flown across the airfield from West to East is G-AYGD DR.1050 Jodel (1800)

MOD St Athan Information - EGSY 07/25

To spot here you're best off taking the B4265 St Athan to Llantwit Major road. From here you will see a railway bridge that leads to a paved track that runs along the fence and runway. This track leads to an unmanned entrance gate and is under CCTV surveillance. If you use this track, please park at the far end, not on the verges, as it is used by wide farm vehicles and delivery lorries. All a/c in outside storage can be seen from the bridge itself. The track can also be accessed via St Athan village via Llantwit Road opposite the Church. To view the Caerdav hangar (Twin Peaks) and scrapping area continue westbound along the B4265, past the West Gate entrance and turn right at the traffic lights. Follow this road to the T-junction and turn right onto the new road. The entrance road to the South Wales Aviation Museum is left at the next traffic lights, views can also be had from here as it's the only convenient stopping place. Be aware there are regular Security and Police patrols around the airfield and you may be stopped and questioned.
